Send me a postcard, write me a song.

A few days ago, in the middle of a musical brainstorm, I was recommended to listen to Julia & The Doogans. I discovered wonderful songs, with plenty of sweetness and melancholy, made with care. The band formed on 2008 in Glasgow. Just in rare occasions they are seen all together, being Julia the only permanent piece of the band, with collaborations of Renata, Jennifer, Carolann, Gus and Ryan. There’s an EP of four songs called ‘Come Home’ that is perfect for quiet evenings, the ‘no think and just enjoy’ type of moments. I like the originality of their Youtube videos, and of the illustrations in every profile of the band around the internet. Especially, the hot-air balloon. To fly.
